On April 25th

390+ volunteers joined forces on 37 project sites across Columbia, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder, and Union Counties — UNITED by a shared commitment to giving back.

The Susquehanna Valley United Way’s annual Day of Action brings community members and local nonprofits together for one incredible day of service, teamwork, and impact. Whether it’s residents lending a hand, employers building team spirit, or nonprofits accomplishing vital projects, Day of Action is a powerful celebration of community and collective action—all in just one day.

Volunteer Projects Across Five Counties

Dozens of nonprofits hosted volunteer projects in their communities. From garden clean-ups and painting projects to organizing spaces and supporting programs for youth and veterans, each county offers unique opportunities to make an impact. Check out the full list of project sites by county!
