Housing and Local Shelters
Housing issues can have different origins. To help tackle this issue, United Way partners with other local, non-profits to provide the necessary assistance for those who are experiencing homelessness and need a roof over their heads, whether on a temporary basis or for a longer period.

Beyond Violence, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization whose mission is to provide support and safety to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault; eliminate personal and institutional violence; and offer direct services, educational programming, and systems advocacy along with adult and child counseling.
