The Housing Solutions Summit is a dynamic opportunity for individuals and organizations across Columbia, Montour, Snyder, Union, and Northumberland Counties to unite in addressing the region's most pressing housing challenges.
Participants should park next to the parking garage (see map linked below) on the Geisinger campus, 100 N. Academy Ave, Danville, PA 17822. It is near the Main Entrance of the hospital.
Participants should then take the shuttle to the Henry Hood Center. Communicating with the driver that you want to be let off as close as possible is recommended as this is not always a usual stop. We recommend giving a good 15 minutes to travel from the parking lot to the Henry Hood Research Center.

Forge Partnerships.
Build innovative connections and alliances to drive sustainable, long-term solutions.
-
Ignite Change.
Brainstorm, workshop, and launch actionable ideas to address housing needs and inspire impactful progress as a united 5-county region.
Pennsylvania Housing Action Plan Survey
On September 12, 2024, Governor Josh Shapiro signed Executive Order 2024-03, directing the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED), in collaboration with other agencies and stakeholders, to develop a comprehensive Housing Action Plan to help ease the burden of high housing costs in Pennsylvania. DCED has created this survey to help collect public input as part of the development of the Housing Action Plan.
Fill out the Housing Action Plan Survey (also available in Español) to share your thoughts and feedback on addressing housing affordability and availability in Pennsylvania.
