United in Recovery Launches 2026 Community Connection Series

Our United in Recovery team is launching a series of community-centered events designed to strengthen connection, reduce stigma, and support individuals and families impacted by substance use disorder. The initiative includes Canvas & Cocoa, Black Balloon Day observances, a mocktail experience for Alcohol Awareness Month, and a regional Recovery in Motion hiking series. Together, these events create welcoming spaces for healing, remembrance, wellness, and recovery support across the five-county region.

Overdose Deaths To Be Remembered On March 6

Black Balloon Day, observed annually on March 6th, serves as a gentle reminder of the importance of supporting those affected by substance overdose. Our United in Recovery Team will be working closely with our community partners, Jeremey’s Journey and Oasis Community Recovery Club, to host events across our region to honor this day.
