The Susquehanna Valley United Way held its 2023-24 Campaign Celebration, where they recognized the many businesses, volunteers, and community members who made this year's campaign successful.

Susquehanna Valley United Way welcomes new staff members and progresses towards its ambitious campaign goal of $550,000 goal aimed at bolstering community initiatives.

The Greater Susquehanna Valley and Columbia-Montour United Ways are now Susquehanna Valley United Way. The name was released at United Way’s merger celebration and campaign kick-off on Thursday night and follows a thorough and thoughtful process that begin in June of last year.

The boards of directors for the Greater Susquehanna Valley United Way (GSVUW) and the United Way of Columbia and Montour Counties (UWCMC) voted unanimously to approve the merger of the two agencies. The merger, effective September 1, follows extended discussions between both boards that began in July of last year.
