Susquehanna Valley United Way Announces Record-Breaking Diaper Dash Results
This year’s Diaper Dash set a new record. Nearly 19,000 diapers, 131 packs of wipes, and dozens of baby essentials are already on their way to local diaper banks, helping ALICE families across our region navigate rising costs and meet their children’s basic needs with dignity. United, we’re building stronger, healthier families.
Susquehanna Valley United Way Selected to Oversee Distribution of Federal Emergency Food and Shelter Funds to Local Agencies.
Susquehanna Valley United Way has been chosen to oversee the distribution of $105,189 in federal funds under the Emergency Food and Shelter National Board Program again this year. These funds will supplement emergency food assistance and shelter programs in Northumberland, Union, Snyder, Columbia, and Montour Counties. The deadline for agency applications is Dec. 5th.
